Turkish Ahl al-Bayt Scholars Issue Statement on Global Developments, Condemn US and Israeli Policies

The Association of Ahl al-Bayt Scholars of Turkey, based in Istanbul, has issued a strongly worded statement warning against what it described as escalating oppression by the United States and the Israeli regime, while voicing firm support for the global resistance front.

Hawzah News Agency- The statement opens by saying that humanity, and the Muslim world in particular, is passing through one of the most sensitive and decisive junctures in contemporary history. According to the association, the lines separating truth from falsehood have now become unmistakably clear across the globe, extending far beyond West Asia, with two opposing fronts standing in open confrontation.

The scholars said it is evident to all people of conscience that the banner of oppression and arrogance is being carried by the United States—referred to as the “Great Satan”—and what they called its “illegitimate offspring,” the occupying Israeli regime. In contrast, they said, the front of resistance has risen with strength under the wise leadership of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, whom they described as a leading figure in the struggle for justice and the liberation of the oppressed.

The statement stressed that at this critical moment in history, standing up to oppressors and supporting the oppressed is both a religious obligation and a moral duty for all free people around the world.

Reaffirming their stance, the scholars declared continued support for oppressed nations and communities “from Palestine to Yemen, from Lebanon and Syria to Myanmar and Venezuela,” emphasizing that their commitment transcends geography and political boundaries.

The association also issued a direct warning to arrogant powers, stating that Islamic sanctities and the institution of religious leadership—currently embodied by Ayatollah Khamenei—constitute an absolute red line.

They cautioned that any attempt to violate this sanctity would provoke what they termed a “storm of sacred anger,” carrying consequences that would be devastating and beyond calculation.

The statement concluded with a prayer for the final victory of the front of truth and for unity among the Muslim Ummah, calling on God Almighty to grant steadfastness and collective resolve in the face of ongoing challenges.

The statement was signed by the Association of Ahl al-Bayt Scholars of Turkey (Istanbul).
